unquote” is delighted to announce the fourth annual British Private Equity Awards*, to be held on 27 November 2008, at the Room by the River in London. The awards celebrate excellence and innovation in the dynamic UK private equity sector and are synonymous with the values that have made unquote” the industry’s most trusted source of private equity information.

The award categories, as outlined on the categories page, definitively cover the entire private equity cycle and will reward innovation and flair by companies and individuals who have contributed tangible and measurable success within their sector of the industry over the last twelve months

For the first time ever unquote" invited its readers to help shape the evening; unquote" asked its readers to help select the winners, after a Longlist was drawn up from two sources, self nomination entries and input from our partner CEPRES

Following the initial formation of the Longlist, this was sent to unquote” readers for voting, and the results formed the Shortlist.

The Winners will be selected by a panel of distinguished industry luminaries, chaired by Kimberly Romaine, Editor-in-Chief. This group will convene to make the final decisions in each category. Specific criteria which the judges will be looking for in each category is listed on the categories page. Winners will be announced at the British Private Equity Awards ceremony on the 27th November.
